Still only 25¢ for fans (which means the next issue would rise to three dimes), and a nod to one of his inspirations, Jim Steranko, the cover featured the half-mechanical manhunter with laser pistol in hand at the center left of the frontispiece, as a montage of action sequences play out within the form of his massive bulk. A stunning work of art and incredibly eye-catching, this is probably the second most famous cover from the antihero’s run in Astonishing Tales. The first being the cover of his launch in Astonishing Tales #25 years earlier."
