It is a test page based on Neil Gaiman's script for Samdman #36 but never was inked

However, it led to Jill penciling Sandman #40 to #49 - the "Brief Lives" saga with Vince Locke as the inker in 1992 and 1993

the page has the DC stamp on the back when it was returned to the artist.
